Bill officiated our October 31st wedding. My husband and I really didn’t know where to start when looking for an officiant. I was brought up Catholic, though I no longer practice, and my husband is an atheist. My husband knew right away that he didn’t want to be married in a church and that he would be very uncomfortable with a ceremony that had heavy religious undertones to it. However, I wanted to honor my family (mostly my mother) by incorporating some spiritual elements, particularly since I know my mother was somewhat disappointed we weren’t getting married in a church. Bill was able to incorporate both of our wishes into a really beautiful ceremony. The ceremony was spiritual without feeling overly religious or Catholic, which made my husband comfortable. The ceremony felt light and happy, which really reflected the personalities of my husband and I. Bill had our guests laughing, and minutes later in tears with his touching words. We had so many compliments on the beautiful ceremony. His experience officiating really shows – he’s professional, prompt, and knows how to personalize the ceremony to reflect your values, beliefs, and personalities. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an officiant.
