My wife and I sought out Rev. Bill because we were looking for someone who would perform a brief, secular, and progressive service, while including a prayer and some Catholic touches (my wife was raised Catholic, but we are not practicing). Rev. Bill fit the bill perfectly.
Before our first phone call was finished, we knew Rev. Bill was the officiant for us. He immediately set us at ease, which is important for two people who are normally averse to being the center of attention. Other officiants we’d spoken to had a number of packages with increasing levels of customization and price, but Rev. Bill promised to deliver a heartfelt and personalized ceremony at an affordable price.
Once we started working on our ceremony, Rev. Bill was exactly what we needed — he was prompt and responsive to us as we waffled between adding and removing different aspects of the ceremony. The questionnaires and documents he provided to us were incredibly helpful. Before we started the process of creating a ceremony, we had few concrete ideas for what things should look like. The finalized text was touching and elegant.
On to the ceremony: Rev. Bill was a calming force who knew exactly what to do. He was gracious with our families and all of our guests who came up to him afterwards to thank him for such a beautiful ceremony. Many guests told us it was one of the best ceremonies they’d ever heard. His reflections (which he kept secret from us until the day of) were touching, funny, and represented my wife’s and my relationship perfectly.
All in all, we could not have asked for a better experience working with Rev. Bill. The ceremony, which my wife and I were probably most anxious about when we started the planning process, turned out to be the most memorable part of our day. We are incredibly thankful to Rev. Bill for his services, and we can’t thank him enough.
