My wife and I were married recently in Arlington, VA, and Reverend William (Bill) J. Freeman was our officiant. Bill did a fantastic job and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He really loves what he does, and you can feel it in the quality and effort he puts into his work. Weddings can be a lot of work, depending on what you’re planning, and Bill’s positive attitude and attention to detail really, really helped us during the process.
Originally, my wife (being Catholic) and I were going to marry in a Church. But because we live and work in Arlington, where life is hustle-bustle more often than not, the church concept became increasingly challenging due to elderly guests, traffic, timing, cost, etc. We ended up having our ceremony in the same location as the reception, and being able to have a Catholic ceremony onsite with Bill was an option we hadn’t previously envisioned. Bill really made our wedding perfect, because his progressive, flexible attitude made for a ceremony that was more aligned with the times, personalized, and accommodating. He took the time to get to know us beforehand and his words during the ceremony were very kind and very beautiful. As I write this I am looking over at a picture on my desk of my wife and I on our wedding day. We are at the alter (so to speak) and Reverend Bill is standing next to us. We feel very fortunate to have met such a wonderful person and to have had him play such an integral part in our union. So if you’re reading this, then best of luck at your wedding and God bless!
